For more than 25 years, Ian Mitchell has worked at the front lines of the global financial system fighting fraud, scams, human trafficking, and child exploitation. Having led fraud teams across 14 countries and served in senior roles at major financial institutions and consulting firms, Ian has seen firsthand how organized financial crime harms vulnerable people around the world.

But Ian’s work has never been only about stopping crime.

It has always been about restoring humanity.

Over the past five years, Ian has begun blending his professional mission with his lifelong passion for music—bringing a message of purpose, hope, and courage to the very audiences responsible for protecting society’s financial infrastructure.

Through keynote talks and live music performances, Ian encourages leaders in banking, payments, technology, and law enforcement to fight crime with both excellence and heart.

Ian began his musical journey leading worship in churches and recovery ministries, where music served as a source of healing and hope.

In recent years, his songwriting has evolved into a broader singer-songwriter style focused on purpose-driven living, encouraging people across all backgrounds to live lives that are courageous, compassionate, and meaningful.

His songs—including “Living With Heart,” “Protect Our Children,” “Too Good To Be True,” and “The Good Times”—are now being incorporated into conferences, advocacy work, and public awareness efforts around crimes of exploitation.

Ian is also the founder of The Knoble, a nonprofit organization uniting financial institutions, NGOs, and law enforcement to combat human trafficking, scams, and child exploitation.

His upcoming media project, Follow The Money, expands this mission into film and storytelling—helping everyday citizens understand how financial crime works and how they can protect themselves.
